Do you have a favorite song you’d like to record for posterity, or do you think one of your kids has The Voice? Greg Kaputska, recording engineer at Brielle Studios, together with composer/playwright Jonathan Brielle, will create a record featuring you!
Winners of the bid will first rehearse with Jonathan Brielle at Brielle Studios or on SKYPE initially (depending on winner’s preference) to select and rehearse a song to record. Then on a mutually agreed date, the winner will record the vocal in the studios, spending as much time as needed to properly record. A ruff mix will be given to the winner that day, and then a final mix will be created on a separate mixing day in the facility’s mixing room. Brielle Studios is a state of the art digital facility located in a historic schoolhouse built in 1850 on a bucolic 10 acre farm in Tewksbury New Jersey, 55 minutes from downtown Manhattan. As a world-class sound engineer and studio manager who supervises productions and recordings of everything from classical to hip hop, Greg Kaputska specializes in creating mixes that integrate sound design and musical composition with all the latest technologies. A classically trained violinist and keyboardist who has studied in both Europe and the USA, he brings a depth and clarity to all Brielle productions because he simply hears what the rest of us For the last twenty-five years, playwright and songwriter Jonathan Brielle has written for musical theatre, Broadway, film, records, TV and radio commercials. He has produced many artists and special events, as well as national and international tours. As the Vice President of the Johnny Mercer Foundation, and former National Projects Director of the Songwriters Guild of America, Jonathan, together with his team of producers, writers and engineers, brings a unique and varied blend of expertise to each and every project.
