Item Description

The winner will receive a certificate for a river raft adventure for four from Black Canyon/Willow Beach River Adventures. 

Your rafting adventure will depart from the Hacienda Hotel before traveling down Lower Portal Road.  This is the road construction workers used when building the Hoover Dam.  You will arrive at the base of Hoover Dam where you will have a bird's eye view of the new bypass bridge, which spans Black Canyon connecting Arizona and Nevada 900-feet above the Colorado River.

You will spend three hours exploring 12-miles of history as your pass through the canyon walls that in some places rise 2,000 feet above the river's edge.  

Experience the waterfalls, hot springs and other geological wonders, Desert Big Horn sheep, Osprey, Great Blue Heron, and much much more.  The trip is fully narrated by experienced guides who offer incredible knowledge of the history of the dam and the area.  Lunch is included in a souvenir insulated bag.  A stop along the way at a beach for lunch will give you the opportunity to swim or play in the cool clear water of the the Colorado River.

Your tour will end at Willow Beach, Arizona.
