Item Description
This one is a beauty - driven by the the wind and spinning freely in an eye catching display.
The Yin and Yang of the Bicycle World features two wind-driven bicycles which pivot on a supporting swing set frame. This piece was a large undertaking that required much understanding within the realm of physics, balance and bearings and such. Physics intertwined with creative elements were needed to make this project turn out just right. Infusing all realms into one cohesive piece was a challenge, but just as the study of ”Yin and Yang” delves into the interconnectedness of opposites, and hence, art and physics become complementary together.
