Item Description
Enjoy an exclusive tour of the Greenway's Contemporary Public Art installations led by Lucas Cowan, the Greenway's Public Art Curator followed by lunch at one of the Greenway’s food trucks.
This is a unique opportunity to view the current exhibitions such as Janet Echelman’s incredible aerial sculpture As If It Were Already Here and Shinique Smith’s Seven Moon Junction wall mural and hear the intimate details of what went into the creation and installation.
The Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy has been bringing innovative and contemporary art to Boston through free, temporary exhibitions on the Greenway, engaging people in meaningful experiences, interactions and dialogue with art and each other. We give artists unique opportunities to exhibit bold, new work that considers the possibilities of 21st century Boston.
Whether you are a new comer to art enthusiasm or an experienced art collector, this will be a great day to further your own art interests!
Item Special Note
Tour and lunch can be scheduled Monday-Friday from 9-5 only.
Expires June 30, 2016 (Although we encourage you to schedule your tour before the end of October 2015, when Janet Echelman's aerial sculpture is scheduled for deinstallation.)
