Item Description
A special coin featuring a young miner holding a pick axe, and on the back, a loaded ore cart stands. Two coins in a mahogany display case with silk lining.
Jane Riley, a Summit County local and Park City Museum volunteer, thought it was time to honor the areas mining history by designing a commemorative coin. The second antiqued silver coin features a young miner holding a pick axe and mountains in the background. The backside of the coin is a a loaded ore cart as well as the area's mining production dates.
