Item Description
This infinity scarf in nålbinding was made by North House Instructor Larry Schmitt. He used the seldom-seen “Danish stitch.” It is large enough to be draped two or three times around.
The wool is a blend of Teeswater and Wensleydale – both listed as members of the Rare Breeds Survival Trust. It was obtained from Darrell and Freda Pilkington of Higher Gills Farm in Rimington, a rural village east of Clitheroe in Lancashire, England. Freda hand painted the yarn in colors drawn from Monet.
Item Special Note
Scarf should be handwashed.
Winning bidder is responsible to pay for shipping or to pick up the scarf at North House Folk School.
