Item Description
Hang this wonderful giclee print by Paul Graubard on a wall in your home or office. The 16” x 19.5” print comes matted and framed.
Self-taught artist Paul Graubard was born in Elizabeth, N.J., in 1932. He has worked as a teacher, professor, and a psychologist, always finding work that gave him the autonomy he craved. Late in life, he began to draw and discovered painting, gave up his practice as a psychologist, and has been working full time as a painter ever since. He now lives in Lenox, MA., with his wife, the poet Karen Chase.
The artist has had solo exhibitions at the Revolving Museum, Lowell, MA., the Church Street Art Gallery, Lenox, MA., the Jewish Center at Williams College, Williamstown, MA., the Ferrin Gallery, Pittsfield, MA., and Atticus, New Haven, CT. Last December Paul Graubard was the subject of a retrospective exhibition of his paintings at the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts in Pittsfield, MA.
Graubard’s work is in the permanent collection of the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore and the Sanskriti Foundation in Delhi, India, as well as in private collections in America and abroad.
