Painter Tony Auth was born on May 7th, 1942 in Akron, Ohio, and lived until September 14, 2014, where he passed away in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The native was an Editorial Cartoonist for the Philadelphia Inquirer, and the recipient of the Pulitzer Prize in 1976, as well as the Herblock Prize in 2005.
This watercolor painting titled "Love" includes's Mr. Auth's cartoonist style coupled with his love for Philadelphia - the City of Brotherly Love.
