The Irish Railroad Workers Museum is a historic site in Baltimore Maryland that celebrates the history of the immense Irish presence in Southwest Baltimore City in the late 1840's. The site highlights places where the Irish lived, worked, worshipped, and were buried.

After rave reviews, this bus tour is back! Once again priced at a reasonable $20 per person, this tour is a wonderful way to learn about your Irish heritage and support the museum. For those of you who dislike shopping, this tour makes an excellent early Christmas present. The day will start at 10:00 am with a tour of the museum, and then a bus will leave for a tour of Immigration Park in Locust Point at 11:30am. Lunch (on your own) will be served at J. Patrick's with the owner giving the history of J. Patrick's. At 1:30 the bus will leave to tour other Irish Sites in the area before going to Fells Point to tour the Irish Heritage places there, including a stop for a beverage at an Irish Pub. The bus will return to the museum at 3:00pm.

Visitors can make the Irish Railroad Workers Museum part of an Irish Heritage walk, combining the B&O Railroad Museum, Irish Railroad Workers Museum, St. Peter the Apostle Church, and the Hollins Street Market. The Irish Railroad Workers Museum is a unique, non-staffed interpretive site that includes a house furnished to depict daily life for the Irish immigrant living in the late 1840s visible through a clear back wall; a garden; and other interpretive exhibits.
