Item Description
A piece of history ... whether you were there or just wished you were, this package includes 2008 Democratic National Convention Hall laminated credential (Section 536, Seat 157, Upper East).
This session was held at Mile High Stadium on the final night of the Convention with more than 80,000 people in attendance. The evening culminated with Barack Obama accepting the nomination.
In his speech, Obama said, "Our government should work for us, not against us. It should ensure opportunity, not for just those with the most money and influence, but for every American who is willing to work. That's the promise of America, the idea that we are responsible for ourselves, but that we also rise and fall as one nation, the fundamental belief that I am my brother's keeper, I am my sister's keeper. That's the promise we need to keep, that's the change we need right now."
And if that isn't enough, we also have an official numbered "Honored Guest" hall pass (033083) to the Pepsi Center, which was the intended location for the acceptance speech before it was moved to Mile High due to a record-breaking crowd.
