Item Description
Combine a little luxury with some daytime adventures on the North Shore. This package includes two nights lodging in a Lutsen Resort luxury Poplar River Room, breakfast for two each morning and a candlelit dinner one evening in the lakeside dining room. Your Poplar River Room, just across the Poplar River from the historic lodge, has a gas fireplace, private deck, whirlpool tub in bath, and a small refrigerator and microwave.
Head out on your own for some North Shore adventures on the Superior Hiking Trail or nearby trails in the state parks to view the waterfalls, ride the paved bike trail or the singletrack mountain bike trails, take a day paddle in the nearby BWCA, or try the exciting downhill run on the nearby alpine slide. You can also join our resort guides in some of the adventure activities included in your stay, such as guided hikes, nature programs, guided sea-kayak tours, and fly-fishing classes. (Check our website for a calendar of activities and events during your dates of stay.) Relax in the evening with a glass of wine from our Wine Spectator Magazine-recognized wine list, watch the sunset in the Adirondack chairs on the beach, or roast marshmallows by the beach campfire on the shore.

Two nights midweek lodging at Lutsen Resort in a Poplar River room on a space available basis, excluding major holidays, October 15, 2016 through October 15, 2016. This item may be used in conjunction with the purchase at market rates of additional consecutive days of stay. This item also may be expanded to include additional persons at market rates.
