Item Description
Includes original pastel artwork by Cincinnatian Lynn Hogan set on the beach outside of the Sea Pines Beach Club in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Framed: 15 1/2 x 18 1/2.
Lynn taught art at Seipelt Elementary School through 2006. She has a fine arts BA from Xavier University and a Masters in Art Education from UC. Besides teaching, she loves painting murals, stenciling, and producing hand painted borders and finishes for clients. She also does watercolor, pastels and acrylic/oils on commission .
A few years ago, Lynn became involved with public art. She participated in the Big Pig Gig in 2001, Flower Power pots, in 2002 and Bats Incredible in 2003. She and her daughter collaborated on a wall of bats called "Swing Baby", featuring Frank Sinatra, which, like her Flower Power Pot, "Tidal Wave" were displayed on Fountain Square. Also, Lynn created a violin for the May Festival Chorus at Music hall, Has murals in the Rheumatology and Speech Pathology clinics at Children's Hospital and has done Secret Art Works for both 2006 and 2007.
