Item Description

These bronze sculptures, donated to The Health Foundation by Deep Gap artist Steve Zoufaly, were inspired by the strength and determination he saw in the survivors of breast cancer in his own life.

His sculptures are a way "to put an idea into some tangible form that we hope will convey what we feel and want to express to others. [. . .] We hope it invokes a feeling, a relationship, maybe inspiration. And, if we are lucky, someone not only appreciates the thought and work that went into the art, but wants whatever it is they felt to be with them as a reminder."

This sculpture would be equally at home in a physician’s office or your own living room. It is a reminder both of the importance of the breast self-exam and the resilience and courage found in those battling cancer.

We are happy to ship this beautiful sculpture anywhere within the continental U.S., but the buyer is responsible for shipping costs.
