Item Description
Point Reyes National Seashore Association is proud to partner with Nick's Cove & Cottages for a mid-week, overnight stay, including a 5-course chef's tasting and a special kayak adventure with Blue Waters Kayaking for two.
You and your guest will check in to Nick's Cove for a night of luxury in one of their waterview cottages overlooking Point Reyes National Seashore, Tomales Point and the Tule Elk Preserve. Each waterview cottage is beautifully appointed with plush down comforters, a wood burning stove and bathrooms equipped with heated ceramic tile floors. The picturesque setting and tranquil waterside evenings make it the perfect place to unwind and refresh yourself.
You and your guest will also enjoy a special 5-course chef tasting menu of the freshest seafood and locally-sourced culinary delights prepared by executive chef, Austin Perkins. The natural beauty and abundant farm produce of the West Marin coast inspire Chef Perkins' seasonal, sustainable and delicious California cuisine sourced from local dairy and produce farms, and the freshest seafood from nearby waters. Each dish is fresh and approachable, the perfect combination of comfort and refinement, and the very essence of elegant but hearty, farm-to-table cuisine. Their inspired restaurant feels more like a hunting lodge, complete with restored mahogany bar, wood-burning fireplace, and reclaimed redwood tables and is the perfect spot for a nightcap.
Spend your arrival or departure day paddling with Blue Waters Kayaking discovering the wonders and wildlife of Tomales Bay with a half or full day Tule Elk paddle tour. This tour launches from the Miller Park Boat Ramp (next to the restaurant at Nick’s Cove), where your guides will outfit you with your kayak and safety gear. Together you will explore the remote east side beaches along the bay in search of tule elk, harbor seals, bat-rays, leopard sharks, river otters, sea lions, and a myraid number of seabirds and hawks.
Perfect as a romantic get-a-way, bid today!
