Artisan: Bill Waldman
Bill Waldman, a retired pediatrician from Baltimore, has worked with wood as a creative outlet since his two grown children were young. He built whimsical children’s furniture for them, as well as a variety of functional and fun objects that sometimes found their way into friends’ homes. In retirement, he spends time in his country workshop letting the wood show him what can come into new form --- a table, shelf, wall art, and so on. Generally his design is contemporary with a splash of Zen. He has shown his work in local craft shows, but does not venture into the world of retail craft.
