Item Description
Editions des Mers Australes is a publishing house in Tahiti which specializes in books in French for young readers that are beautifully illustrated and which touch on both the modern customs and the historical traditions of French Polynesia. These are universal themes that will resonate with children of other countries as well.
The trio includes the story of a little chicken who dreamed of laying chocolate eggs. Continuing the chocolate theme is a story of three young boys who stumble on a cache of chocolate, La nuit du chocolat. Completing the trio is Chat c'est sûr, which introduces young readers to a selection of terms from local dialects.
