Item Description

Climb to the top at Philadelphia Rock Gym. Auction winner will receive a certificate for one of the following services: Intro to Climbing Package (for participants aged 16 or older); or Family Intro Package (intro to climbing for one parent and two children).

The Intro to Climbing Package is an entry-level package that covers the basic safety skills needed to get started climbing--including the Top Rope Intro for operating the safety ropes, knot tying, and basic climbing movement, and Bouldering Intro course for mat placement and bouldering safety. Also includes Full Day Pass, all rental equipment and a FREE Two Week Pass to come back and climb! Available to adults 16 and older.

The Family Introduction Package allows one parent to work with one of their skilled instructors to learn all the necessary safety skills. Includes a day pass, gear rentals, and lesson for one parent, and day passes and gear rentals for two kids. Once the lesson is done, you and your kids can enjoy the rest of your day at PRG! Available to adults with children under 13. 

The first Philadelphia Rock Gym, built in 1994, was one of the first indoor climbing facilities in the United States. Since that time we have introduced more than 40,000 people to the amazing sport of rock climbing. Our 7,000+ square foot facility includes 1,500 square feet of bouldering, over 30 top-ropes, 2,000 square feet of leadable surface, indoor teambuilding elements, private room rentals, pro shop... everything you need for an amazing climbing experience.

After payment is processed, our winning bidder may make arrangements for pick up from our NORTH PENN YMCA Corporate Office in Colmar, PA, or our branch locations in Lansdale or Harleysville.  If necessary, bidder is responsible for shipping and handling fees, which will be added to the winning bid amount.  Certificates may be mailed at no charge. Items will be shipped and billed at standard industry rates.
