A small table of spalted beech and curly maple. The finish is a wipe on poly. My inspiration for the piece was the furniture of George Nakashima.

I have been a furniture maker for forty years and I went to Pendle Hills with my good friend Larry Wilson who had lived there when he was young and whose father Dan Wilson was the director for thirty five years. I was so taken by the beauty of the place, that I decided to contribute to the auction.
