Item Description

Receive all four Pema Chodron DVDs from the Shambhala Publications catalog. The set includes:

Smile at Fear: A Retreat with Pema Chodron on Discovering Your Radiant Self-Confidence shares teachings inspired by the book Smile at Fear, which was written by her teacher Chögyam Trungpa. She and her teaching assistant, Carolyn Rose Gimian, also share practices they received from Trungpa Rinpoche for courageously meeting ourselves in the present moment.

Giving Our Best: A Retreat with Pema Chodron on Practicing the Way of the Bodhisattva explores how "little by little, through practice and commitment, we can become empowered to reach out beyond ourselves and heal the abundant suffering of the world."

Fully Alive is based on the program "Living Beautifully with Uncertainty and Change" held at Omega Institute in which Pema Chödrön and her teaching assistant, Meg Wheatley, provide a wealth of wisdom for learning to be completely, fearlessly present even in the hardest times, the most difficult situations.

And, finally, in The Heart of Bravery Sakyong Mipham and Pema Chodron talk about the "unconquerable courage within you...the boundless reserve of strength at the very core of your being—your intrinsic human goodness."

Pema Chodron is an American Buddhist nun in the lineage of Chögyam Trungpa. She is resident teacher at Gampo Abbey in Nova Scotia, the first Tibetan monastery in North America established for Westerners. She is the author of many books and audiobooks, including the best-selling When Things Fall Apart and Don't Bite the Hook. Learn more about her and her work here.
