Item Description
Antique children's height chair measuring 40" x 14" x 14". Rush materials were handwoven to create a beautiful pattern for a rush chair. Artist (and craftsperson) Darlene L'Heureux has been caning chairs and weaving rush on chairs for many decades, practicing her craft in Melrose and in Lynnfield.
Darlene L'Heureux is on the board at Lynnfield Art Guild. She is known for her cat series of watercolor and acrylics as well as her colorful flowers and landscaes. Darleen has been painting for years at the Senior Center.
