Item Description
"Larkspur" by Scott Will Simmons is a 34" x 34" framed, ready to hang oil on canvas. It is an original painting of one of the "Days Cottages" along 6A in Troro, Massachusettes. A single building sits, seemingly isolated in vibrant masterful colors. A must have for your collections!
About the Artist: Painter and published author of "Choices Made- A Tale of Gwerin. Represented by Picture This (Providence) amd Lymon Eyer Gallery (P-Town). Scott originates from South Carolina, but has made Rhode Island his home since 1993. Scott has been painting for over 10 years. His use of bold color and defined spaces draw you into his expressionistic paintings of still lifes, landscapes and figures. “I have struggled with developing an Artist Statement for years, trying to put to words my need to create art. The best I can do is to tell you that I need to create art because it is who I am and what I need to do. It is not just about composition, light, color, texture, subject or design. It’s all of it coming together and working as a painting.”
