Item Description
This cutting board (or potential decorative piece, you decide!) was made entirely on Pendle Hill’s campus. The first phase—cutting and gluing the two pieces of Cherry wood together—and the second phase—designing and cutting the board into its animal shape—were completed on two separate Community Work mornings. Subsequent sanding was done in the woodworking studio over the course of multiple Monday evenings. Finished with mineral oil.
Perfect piece for someone who loves chopping things and has fond Community Work morning memories.
Artisan: Amy Greulich
Amy Greulich has been at Pendle Hill for over a year in the position of Advancement Fellow. She once made an Adirondack chair in seventh grade (which can be seen at a distance on her family’s front porch on Googlemaps!), but this piece marks the end of an eleven year break from woodworking.
Dimensions: 15.5"x10.5"x.5"
