Item Description
Have you canoed on a river with your faithful paddling partner, only to get frustrated that the tree you hit or the rock you got stuck on was not your fault -- AND you were blamed for it? End these deadend disagreements with your canoeing partner by learning some essential techniques for river canoeing through this valuable lesson offered by Bob and Lynne Diebel.
Veteran paddlers and authors of two guidebooks on paddling Minnesota rivers, Lynne and Bob not only know the right turn of the paddle in bow or stern, they also know well the delicate dynamics of paddling with a partner. Save your relationship AND learn to manage your boat in a river with this great offer!
The offer includes a signed copy of Lynne's new book, Crossing the Driftless: A Canoe Trip Through a Wisconsin Landscape.

Item Special Note
The Diebels are available for the lesson (3-4 hours duration) from late May to mid-July 2016 on a river of the winning bidder's choice within a 30-mile radius of Madison. (River Alliance's suggestion: go on a smaller river where you will learn a lot more than on a big river.)
Winning bidder will coordinate with Diebels to pick a date.
