Bio: Jacquie Clay (born August 28, 1987 is a composer, musician, and artist originally from Connecticut. Mentored in Impressionism style painting, Jacquie utilizes the nature around her as inspiration including sand and shells in her work. Her love of nature and her hands on work with rehabilitating wildlife at Cape Wildlife Center has fine-tuned her imagination, enabling her to create light-filled landscapes that evoke the very emotion and personality of the sea, and portraits that capture the innocence of animals. Although she prefers to paint primarily in acrylic, Jacquie uses a variety of mediums including water color and oil and enjoys creating both figurative and abstract art. She currently resides on Cape Cod, MA and is actively perusing her artistic ventures.
