Item Description
In 2014, Northern Forest Canoe Trail member and school teacher Geoff Davis paddled 420 miles from New York to western Maine with funding from a Lilly Teacher Creativity Fellowship. Along the trail, he searched for birds to include in a series of miniature bird carvings. This item is a Northern Parula, which made an impression on Geoff while resting on Franklin Falls Pond in New York.
