Lido Raposo holds a B.S. Degree in Biology from UMASS/Boston. He has worked both in the Biotech and Medical fields before being considered disabled due to his autism. Prior to moving to Woonsocket, RI and discovering the AAM, Lido has volunteered over 500 hours and earned several awards within The Human Body Connection exhibit area of the Museum of Science, Boston, MA. He is a self-taught music and visual artist and occasionally likes to create his own music videos.
“Winter Train to New York #1” is featured in my original composition, lyrics, performance, recording, and published music video titled, "Goodbye My Friend.” This music video connects to a relationship with my best friend, Chuck Messina, who passed away in early 2015 from cancer. This piece was created in the spring of 2015 and inspired by a line within the lyrics of the chorus regarding Chuck & my celebrations together during the winter months.
