Your destination is Zulu Nyala for six unforgettable days and six nights for two people is a private game preserve where animals roam freely in Southern Maputaland, one of the largest and most diverse conservation areas in South Africa. Stay at your choice of three 4-star locations – the stone and thatch Zulu Nyala Game Lodge, the elegant colonial Zulu Nyala Heritage Hotel or Hemingway style tents, all of them offering the finest in comfort and hospitality and where “I Dreamed of Africa” was filmed. Cool lounges, wide verandas, sparkling swimming pools and a tennis court make being “in camp” a relaxing, pleasurable experience. Your "Soft Adventure" trip includes three meals per day and two daily game drives in an open Land Rover.

Zulu Nyala began back in May of 1981 when Trevor Shaw, the founding member of the Zulu Nyala Group, decided to take a risk and buy a remote 15,500 acre piece of land in the middle of Kwa- Zulu Natal, an undeveloped but superb wilderness area. Shaw named the property Zulu Nyala, after the predominant culture of the area and the beautiful but shy Nyala buck.

In 1991, Trevor Shaw began constructing a "gentleman's camp", an exclusive 12 room thatch and stone lodge on top a hill, offering a beautiful view out over the surrounding region.

Today the game reserve surrounding the Zulu Nyala Game Lodge is a 4,500 acre property that is home to over 40 different animal species. This gentleman's camp has been developed over the last 19 years to become the magnificent private lodge that today hosts guests from all over the world. Over this period of time, Zulu Nyala also acquired adjoining pieces of land from neighboring cattle farmers. 

Zulu Nyala Private Game Reserve provides a unique bush experience in the heart of one of South Africa¿s most diverse conservation regions. Nestled between the wilderness reserves of Mkuze, Hluhluwe, St Lucia and Sodwana Bay, this lush stretch of paradise is home to a wide variety of game, from the majestic elephant to rhino, buffalo, hippo, giraffe, the secretive leopard and cheetah and the shy Nyala antelope that are endemic to the region.

If you are present at the live event, you may pick up your redemption details, otherwise, winners may pick up this item at the Program Administration offices of the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles: 1102 Crenshaw Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90019.  If unable to do so, deliveries to winners will be made in the Los Angeles Metro area only; otherwise, the items will be shipped and the winner will be charged the shipping fee.
