Item Description
The American Academy of Pediatrics approved Neurofeedback as a "Level 1" or "Best Support" option, with the same level of effectiveness as medication for Attention and Hyperactivity Issues. According to Frank Duffy, MD, Neurologist at Boston Children's Hospital, and Harvard Medical School Professor: &"The literature, which lacks any negative study of substance, suggests that EEG biofeedback (neurofeedback) therapy should play a major therapeutic role in many difficult areas. In my opinion, if any medication had demonstrated such a wide spectrum of efficacy, it would be universally accepted and widely used." BrainPeaks ADD/ADHD Neurofeedback is the utilization of research-based, non-medical, effortless brain training exercises designed to retrain dysregulated brain wave patterns, enabling reduction and often total elimination of medication.
Item Special Note
An assessment will be required prior to training (for an additional fee of $175, not part of the auction item), and additional training is normally recommended.
Pick up time is Sunday, October 18th from 8:00 – 9:00 pm in the Our Lady of Grace Silent Auction area. Alternatively, local bidders may make arrangements for pick up at Our Lady of Grace School Tuesday, October 20th through Thursday, October 22nd from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. or by contacting Robin Stewart at robinstewart4@gmail.com.
If the item is not picked up, the Bidder will be responsible for shipping/mailing fee, which will be added to the winning bid amount. Items will be shipped via USPS or UPS and billed at standard industry rates. Items cannot be replaced if broken, lost or stolen therefore tracking and/or insurance is advised.
