About the Show:

Two-time Emmy® Award and Golden Globe Award® winner Bruce Willis makes his Broadway debut alongside three-time Emmy® Award winner Laurie Metcalf this fall in MISERY, the edge-of-your-seat suspense thriller.

Following a near-fatal car accident, a world-famous novelist finds himself in a strange house being nursed back to health by his doting, self-proclaimed Number One Fan. But as her love for his work turns to dangerous obsession, he realizes he must plot his greatest story yet: how to escape with his life.

Adapted for the Broadway stage by two-time Academy Award® winner William Goldman and based on the classic Stephen King novel, MISERY plays a strictly limited engagement of 16 weeks only.

About the Star:

Laurie Metcalf began acting at Steppenwolf Theatre Company. Her acting career in film and television began with a minor and uncredited role in Robert Altman's A Wedding (1978). In 1988, Laurie found her most memorable and successful role to date, Jacqueline "Jackie" Harris in the television series Roseanne (1988). For her performance in the series, she was nominated for two Golden Globes and won three Primetime Emmy awards.

Laurie's past Broadway credits include: The Other Place, Brighton Beach Memoirs, November, and My Thing of Love.
