Item Description
The opera Paul Bunyan,written by Benjamin Britten with libretto by W. H. Auden, was performed in The Plymouth Music Series of Minnesota. This recording was the winner of the 1988 British Gramophone Award for Best Opera Recording. Philip Brunelle was the conductor. The soloists included James Lawless, Pop Wagner, Elisabeth Comeaux, Dan Dressen, and Vern Sutton. This CD set includes the libretto.
