Under the artistic leadership of Matthew Halls, the Oregon Bach Festival presents three weeks of choral-orchestral masterworks, guest artists, chamber music, social events, and education programs. Based in Eugene, the University of Oregon event also produces a summer series in Portland, with concerts in other cities and special events throughout the year.

Marché is about celebrating life and the bountiful Pacific Northwest with locally grown and gathered food, prepared with care and served in a lively and elegant atmosphere.

They take their name from the French word for market — a word that describes not only the location in Eugene, Oregon’s bustling 5th Street Market, but their philosophy of cooking. The menu is based on foods you would find at a farmers market — fresh, seasonal, and regional.  Committed to using only those ingredients that are at their best, the menu evolves as we move through the seasons of the year. Their culinary technique is French-based — intensely flavored and simply but beautifully presented.

The restaurant has an exhibition kitchen featuring a beautiful wood-fired oven. There is also a recently expanded bar area, a private dining room and a large outdoor patio covered with awnings and umbrellas and surrounded by a garden of herbs and edible flowers.
