One of a kind, Fused Glass Sculpture “Illusion”

Resident of St. John and The Villages, Florida.
“Illusion” can be viewed at Bajo El Sol Gallery in Mongoose Junction on St. John, where other pieces of her artwork are displayed. The one of a kind fused glass piece is 19 " in diameter and stands 31" high in its custom wrought iron stand.
As in “Illusion,” Carol Ann's work explores the areas of fused glass sculpture for indoors and outdoors. Her work combines geometric shapes as well as excitement in her colour choices and designs. The energy flows from each piece drawing the viewer into the centre.
To create these works, pieces of specialized fusable glass are cut and shaped into different designs and patterns and layered to create a unique work of art. The glass is then fired in her large kiln, sometimes several times and often slumped into a mold if needed. Much of the material is specialized premium irridized glass that, after firing, becomes very luminous and vibrant when highlighted with natural sun light or artificial back lighting.
Carol Ann also creates custom lighting, table tops, bathroom glass and mosaic installations as well as dish ware.
The winning bidder can pick up “Illusion” at Bajo El Sol and if shipping is required, the gallery will handle that for winning bidder directly at a cost of approximately $100. (Not included.)
