Thus, in the workshop of colors, where they prepare the various shades, the story is coupled with alchemy, because the various shades of blue go hand in hand with the evolution of glazed earthenware, and mathematics and chemistry are used to count the molecules of the glazes. In the clay and terracotta apply to materials science, the history of the dishes and the objects of furniture, and styles got to do with literature, mathematics with the age of the material clay, or the mixing of the metal oxides, to create beauty and splendor.

The store was founded by an italian family moved permanently to Charleston after a trip for tourism. Trip that made them fall in love with the city, its architecture, and the kindness and fine culture of its people. The idea of combining the ancient art of Sicilian ceramics with local artistic reality, led to the creation of this store, situated in the French Quarter, just steps from the historic Market Street and the elegant King Street.
