Certificate for One (1) Week of Summer Arts Adventures 2016 at the Farmington Valley Arts Center

Sessions run daily from 9am-1pm and are ideal for kids entering 2nd grade through 8th grade.  Registrant must sign up by May 1st, 2016. 

Choose from the following eight themed weeks:

SESSION 1 JUNE 20 - JUNE 24 ALL MIXED UP
We will explore a variety of art materials and methods and no two pieces will look the same when arts adventurers get “All Mixed Up”.

SESSION 2 JUNE 27 - JULY 1 DA VINCI THIS!
Be inspired by masters we all know and love! Paint like Pollock, draw like Da Vinci, Pop like Warhol and go Cubist like Picasso.

SESSION 3 JULY 5 - 8 (4 DAYS) FUNKY JUNKY ART
What timeless treasures can you create using recycled materials, art studio supplies and your imagination?

SESSION 4 JULY 11 - 15 WILD ART
We’ll be hunting for animal art with fin, fur and feathers, and go wild creating untamed works of our own.

SESSION 5 JULY 18 - 22 MAGICAL FANTASY
Magical Fantasy Bibbidi-bobbidy-boo, make your dreams come true! We reach back to our oldest tales to find inspiration for this enchanted camp, full of fairies, wizards and dragons.

SESSION 6 JULY 25 - 29 WHERE IN THE WORLD
Get ready! Become an adventurer and explore distant lands and a variety of cultures through their arts and crafts.

SESSION 7 AUGUST 1 - 5 SUPER SILLY WACKY
Think outside the box. Got an idea? We can make it happen!

SESSION 8 AUGUST 8 - 12 ALL MIXED UP
We will explore a variety of art materials and methods and no two pieces will look the same when arts adventurers get “All Mixed Up”.

During the summer, the Farmington Valley Arts Center's picturesque and inspiring Avon campus becomes a place where young artists unleash their creativity and develop confidence in their abilities to express their ideas.  Each week campers will be led by professional teaching artists in projects related to the theme of the week using various mediums including painting, drawing, pottery, sculpture and collage.

Certificate can be shipped within the continental US at the expense of the winner.  If shipping is requested, shipping costs will be added to the winning bid amount.  The shipping charge for this item is $2 and is non negotiable. Certificate will be sent via USPS.  Shipping is calculated for each item won and will not be combined/reduced for winners of multiple items.
