About the Artist:Eric J. Auger (ÅÂÂÂ? zhÄÂÂÂ?y) is a mixed media artist and costume designer living and working in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. He was born in 1969, to artistic parents who provided him and his siblings with a nurturing and creative childhood. He graduated from Rhode Island College in 1992 with a B.F.A. in Photography with minors in Graphic Design and Mass Communications. He expresses his unique style in a variety of media including acrylic paint on canvas, pastel, colored pencil, photography and digital images. Eric has recently returned to his first love of painting on canvas and photography. His primary source of inspiration is Nature; life, death and decay are his muses. Fractals and Natural Geometry strongly influence his work. Through his images he invites others to see the world through his eyes and shares what nature has revealed to him.
