Bruce Davenport, Jr. (aka Dapper Bruce Lafitte) grew up in the Lafitte Projects of New Orleans. He was displaced by Hurricane Katrina. Shortly afterward, he began drawing scenes of his New Orleans neighborhood. His work as been exhibited in New Orleans, New York City and throughout the world.
