IRAN & THE US: THE ROAD TO PEACE – DR. SEYED HOSSEIN MOUSAVIAN

A former Iranian diplomat, Dr. Seyed Hossein Mousavian will explore the details of the U.S.–Iran Nuclear Deal, the impact of reduced sanctions, and what lies ahead for future U.S.-Iran relations.
U.S.-RUSSIAN RELATIONS – AMBASSADOR STEVEN PIFER

Amb. Steven Pifer, Director of the Brookings Arms Control and Non-Proliferation Initiative, will use his indepth knowledge of Russia, Ukraine, and U.S. foreign policy to examine U.S.’s relationship with Putin, Ukraine’s independence, and the role of non-proliferation and arms control in this complicated relationship.
U.S. INTELLIGENCE AND CYBER SECURITY – JENNIFER SIMS

Jennifer Sims, Senior Fellow with the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, will explore the complex world of U.S. cyber security, intelligence issues that will continue to shape U.S. foreign policy and the threat of cyber-attacks against the U.S. carried out abroad.
HOW TO BUILD A REFUGEE CAMP – PAUL FRANKMANN, DANIELLE DRAKE
TUESDAY, MAY 10, 2016|LOCATION TBD
Paul Frankmann will lead a hands-on training session exploring humanitarian law and the policies that protect refugees and internally displaced persons, and how to ethically build the camps that house them. Danielle Drake from US Together will share real life examples of life in refugee camps and the plight of the 59 million refugees living around the world.
