Item Special Note
The Altamont Bakery is a prize-winning pro-social start-up based in Congregation B'nai Emunah, Tulsa, Oklahoma. We baked the featured cookie at the National Governors Convention in 2013 and our project was honored by Slingshot in its 2014-2015 National Directory.
The Bakery brings together intermittently homeless mentally ill citizens of Tulsa with Synagogue volunteers to bake some of the best cookies in America. Our bakers make a minimum of $10 an hour, free and clear, and we're rapidly expanding our customer base. If you like these cookies, be sure to order more for your next social justice gathering or public event.
