2013 Black Fox Cabernet Sauvignon

Wine Profile

Tasting Notes

California’s Cabernet are about as popular worldwide as Bordeaux’s and the 2013 Black Fox Cabernet is a perfect example of why. This cedar accented dark berry wine goes down nice and easy, with a raspberry punch and a cherry kicker to underscore the cassis taste. This is a delightfully fruity wine that’s everything we love about Cabernet Sauvignon. Our experts were unanimous on the 2013 Black Fox. “A classic,” said one as he poured his second glass, “just what you expect from a California Cab.” Another expert was especially keen on the wine’s scent saying, “It smells just like walking through a farmer’s market on a nice, breezy day. So much calming fruit flavors.” This was one of their favorite Cabs from 2013 and they highly suggest snatching up as much as you can right now!

 2012 Geja’s Big Bold Red

As the name says, this is a wine big on flavor and bold, with ripe flavors floating over a fine structure of natural fruit acidity. If you haven’t already tried it, there’s no better time than now. The Geja’s Big Bold Red is a feisty, impudent red with prominent, aggressive tannins that are fresh and forward. This is one wine you can enjoy every day of the week at a price that’s hard to beat.
