Enjoy a 5 day vacation good for up to 14 people in the North Carolina mountains at MelbyMonte Lodge.

Designed and built to be a summer get-away, MelbyMonte Lodge is a 4,000 square foot vacation home - both charming and spacious. With 6 bedrooms (plus den and loft) and 4 bathrooms, this home is certain to accommodate your needs!

Located on the side of a quiet mountain, guests have privacy, beautiful views and nature in your backyard. The setting is “woods” with views either across the valley, or into adjacent tree tops. MelbyMonte Lodge is on a dead-end, slow speed, gravel road. You can find hiking, fishing, white water rafting, skiing, and more within minutes. After a day of activities, sit back and relax on the screened back porch, grapevine covered arbor with picnic table, or open deck wrap-around front porch with charcoal grill and picnic table.

This home is located just 20 minutes from both Cashiers and Highlands.

BR 1 – main level (no stairs) 2 single beds

*Five of the bedrooms are on the lower level and have direct access to shared bathrooms, and all BRs have full closets and dressers, etc.

Dining Room & Kitchen:
Designed for entertaining, MelbyMonte Lodge offers an open floor plan with a large 12' dining room table. Between the dining room, kitchen table and bar area, 20-25 guests sit comfortably.

The kitchen is completely stocked with pots/pans, utensils, etc. The pantry and refrigerator probably have an assortment of food items. You are welcome to use anything there, and welcome to leave any non-perishable foods you do not use. The water here is the cleanest, freshest, purest, best water you’ve ever tasted. Straight from the ground out front, but 650’ down.
