Two guitar lessons with instructor Kevin Richards.
Kevin T. Richards, started out on the streets of Cleveland busking as a teenager, studying traditional music. A Cleveland State University music major, Kevin taught guitar in a private guitar studio eventually mastering fiddle, banjo and mandolin as well. Averaging 100 annual performances, Kevin has appeared at the National Folk Festival, Merlefest, and entertained audiences across the US at schools, concerts, on radio and television. He directed Roots of American Music’s PBS special about Ohio artists. He has shared the stage w/ Grammy award winning artist John Hammond, RRHFM inductee Jorma Kaukonen, old time blues artist Howard Armstrong, and blues Hall of Famer Robert Lockwood Jr. Kevin's three CDs feature pre-war acoustic blues, ragtime, and string band classics. His passion and expertise about roots music enables him to share these lessons as teaching artist Kevin is the founder of the Fairmount School of Music.
