In the fall of 2015 HM The Queen became Britain’s longest reigning monarch after surpassing the reign of her great-great-grandmother, Queen Victoria with over 63 years and 7 months. On Coronation Day, the prize winner and one guest will be met in the morning at Wellington Barracks, adjacent to Buckingham Palace, to watch the King’s Troop, Royal Horse Artillery get on parade and be inspected by the Commanding Officer. They will then be escorted to Green Park to watch the deployment of the guns and the firing of a 21 gun salute. Then, they will be escorted back to Wellington Barracks for lunch in the Officers Mess and a tour of the stables.
This is a very special and privileged day.
