A one-hour singing lesson with Evelyn Halus. (valid through 12/31/2016) Have you always wanted to learn how to sing,but werent sure where to start? Learn how to expand your range.Build a solid foundation of healthy vocal technique and apply that technique into songs that you want to sing. A custom vocal warm up CD just for you. At the end of our session you will have a tailor made vocal warm-up CD with daily exercises to strengthen your voice and we will look at songs that work your voice and can be used to show you in the best light at auditions. About Evelyn: Evelyn has been on the faculty at UCLA, USC,UCI, Idyllwild Summer Arts, Orange County High School of the Arts. She has had her own vocal studio in Los Angeles for over 20 years. Evelyn has a vocal coaching technique that covers all musical styles. Evelyn's clients include Cher, Jennifer Lopez, Nathan Lane, Neil Patrick Harris, Kenneth Branagh, Alicia Silverstone, Kevin Kline, Matthew Morrison, Megan McGinnis, Lindsay Mendez, Olivia Newton John, Katey Sagal, Jessica Biel, Sutton Foster, Kerry O'Malley, David Gahan and Martin Gore (of the band Depeche Mode) and The Spice Girls. She has taught cast members in the Broadway, Workshop and National Touring Productions of Violet, On A Clear Day, Hairspray, Mamma Mia, The Producers, Light in the Piazza, On a Clear Day, Thoroughly Modern Millie, South Pacific, Cry Baby, The Sound of Music, Little Women, Daddy Long Legs, Rent, Beauty and the Beast, Les Miserables, Princesses, Parade, White Christmas, Legally Blonde, American Idiot, and Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. She has been a vocal coach for clients appearing on film and television including: The Prince of Egypt, That Thing You Do, Easy Virtue, I'll Do Anything, El Dorado, Love's Labour's Lost, Cinderella, Once Upon A Mattress, But Can They Sing?, Celebrity Duets and Grease: You're The One That I Want. Evelyn appears as Eleanor Roosevelt and Evelyn Lincoln on the PS Classics CD of First Lady Suite. Other cast albums include the Gershwin musicals Oh, Kay!, Tell Me More, Pardon My English, and Tip Toes on the Elektra Nonesuch label. Evelyn is a founding member of Academy Repertory Company, the performing arm of the Academy of New Musical Theatre in North Hollywood where she devotes her talents to the development of new musical theatre frontiers. She has appeared on Live with Regis and Kathie Lee and The View. Some favorite theatre credits include: New York's Equity Library Theatre's production of A Thurber Carnival, the LA premiere of Assassins at LATC, The Trojan Women at CBS Radford Studios and The Blank Theatre Company's production of Michael John La Chiusa's First Lady Suite. Evelyn is a proud member of Actors Equity Association SAG and AFTRA.
