This is a 2 hour private lesson on Finale Music Notation Software with Bonnie Janofsky. Whether you are a beginner or advanced composer and/or songwriter, Finale can be a great tool for your scores, arrangements and leadsheets. Taught by composer/arranger/songwriter (and ANMT composer member) Bonnie Janofsky. Bonnie is a native Angelino from a musical family. She began piano at age 9, followed by drums and arranging/orchestration in college, and then composition and conducting. Bonnie completed her BA and grad work at CSULA, and was a participant in the world famous Earle Hagen BMI Film Scoring Workshop. She completed the USC Advanced Studies Program, Scoring for Motion Pictures and TV, where she was awarded the annual BMI Award. Her film scores have been featured in and won awards in numerous festivals. Bonnie created the all-women big band, MAIDEN VOYAGE, and appeared on Johnny Carson's Tonight Show, as well as on a Big Band Weekend opposite Count Basie, Woody Herman, Harry James and Maynard Ferguson. Her Jazz waltz, OLIVIA'S FIRST WALTZ, was awarded Best Instrumental Jazz Song at the JPF 2002 Music Awards. In theatre, Bonnie has composed in the Playwright-Composer Studio 2000 of the A.S.K. Theater Project. She has completed over a dozen full length shows and is currently composing and arranging several new stage and film musicals. Shows she has Music Directed include world premieres of Alan Stillsons I REMEMBER LOU (Whitefire Theatre) and THANK YOU MINERVA (Secret Rose Theatre) and Bill Richs HOUSE OF FINNEGAN (El Portal Theatre) where she also served as conductor and orchestrator.
