Item Description
Lot 3 is one of California’s finest Pinot Noirs.
A prior winner of Top 100 Wines of the World and recipient of 95 and 94 points from Wine Advocate and Wine Spectator.
Luckily for you, we were owed some favors by some very kind people so Mr. Hunt was given the run of the caves to pick out 6 barrels.
Similar to the best parts of regions like Burgundy, coastal Sonoma and Willamette, the Santa Rita Hills are ideal for Pinot Noir. Chalky soils, exposed hills, warm days, the east-west maritime ‘fog funnel’ and the very long growing season deliver beautifully developed fruit for wineries like Sea Smoke, Brewer-Clifton and Sanford to make waves around the wine world.
