Executive Chef Joseph Burnett brings an appreciation for fresh ingredients that stems from his childhood in England, sampling vegetables grown in the neighbors garden to the sun warmed wild blackberries along the hedgerows with his great grandmother. It is with this appreciation and philosophy of pure flavors as an expression of the best ingredients that The Osprey Tavern is committed to using only the finest picks of the season. From the oysters that are harvested from the pristine waters of the Northern coasts, to the carefully sourced Midwestern beef and bounty of local produce and seafood, all are thoughtfully prepared with both classic and modern techniques so the ingredients can take center stage. You will find fine steaks and seafood coming from our wood fired grill, pizzas from our stone hearth oven, fresh made pastas and artisan crafted house cured meats.
