Eco-Printed Table Runner (or wall-hanging) by Amelia Poole of Ecouture Textiles in Brooksville.
Materials: Spun Silk Broadcloth, printed with wild false indigo, chocolate cosmos, Geranium "caliope" and sword-leaf goldenrod.
Dimensions: 15" W x 47" L

Eco-printing is a process using local plants to create permanent color and patterns Plant material is laid out on prepared cloth or paper, tightly bound and steamed to create one-of-a-kind images. No external inks, dyes or paints are used in eco-printing; all color is from natural compounds in the leaves themselves.
