Item Description

Enjoy these five vintages from '02-'06! And just like in Ocean's Eleven, they're "All Reds!"

2002 Nuestra Senora del Portal Tinto

88 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - September/October 2005

Deep ruby-red. Very ripe aromas of plum, black cherry, berries, spices, licorice and menthol. Smooth and sweet, with adequate acidity to give shape to the rich berry and licorice flavors. Nicely lush and seamless. Finishes with substantial dusty, broad tannins. A very good value.

2003 Chianti Classico Riserva

Pale red, good nose – savory and sweet all at once, doesn’t feel international but does feel modern Italian, low yields, concentrated fruit. Very good, assertive tannins and acid, ripe fruit, long dry bitter finish.

2004 Reguengos Tinto, Alentejo, Portugal

Hand-picked grapes are unloaded and immediately destemmed and crushed. The fermentation begins in vats at controlled temperature of 82.4 °F. Maceration was intense and prolonged. The wine ages in vats and was stabilized and filtered over the course of one year. This wine presents a crystal clear garnet colour, with a nose full of red fruit, mellow and full-bodied, with soft tannins that gives it a lingering finish.

2005 Chateau Grand-Puy Ducasse

The Wine Advocate - "Another "best ever" performance, the Grand-Puy-Ducasse is made in a charming style for a 2005 Pauillac. This deep ruby-hued, very concentrated, precocious, showy effort displays copious quantities of sweet oak intermixed with black cherries, black currants, velvety tannins, medium body, and loads of fruit. It can be drunk now or cellared for 15-20 years.

2006 Tikal Patriota

Aromas of bright berry/cherry fruit and electric-purple color. Like swallowing a whole bowl of mixed ripe berries at once. Big body yet very balanced, with luscious layers of raspberry, cherry, and cocoa flavors. Just a hint of baking spice at the end brings it all together.

Pairs well with grilled meats such as beef and pork, smoked ham, and even pizza with meat toppings. Incredibly fun to drink!
