Item Description
1 Master Class in Composition and Film Scoring for high school students (maximum of 20 students). Date to be mutually set. Film and game composer of "exquisite talent" Penka Kouneva began her career in film/TV in 2000. Working alongside Steve Jablonsky she scored PRINCE OF PERSIA: FORGOTTEN SANDS and TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN games. Recently, Penka scored award-winning video games (Rollers of the Realm), independent features (Primrose Lane, Midnight Movie) and television (Modern Marvels, Forensic Files).
Penka's composition awards include: the SUNDANCE Composer Fellowship, two Ovation Awards, The Copland Award, Hollywood Music in Media Award, Independent Music Award. Penka is on the Advisory Board of Game Developers Conference, Mentor for G.A.N.G Scholars (Game Audio Network Guild) and an Advisor for the Sundance Institute. Her second orchestral cinematic album The Woman Astronaut was released in 2015 on the biggest soundtrack label, Varese Sarabande / Universal Music Group to 5-star press. Her first orchestral album A Warrior's Odyssey was released in 2012 to 5-star press as well.
