Item Description

Enjoy two Red wines from Spain!

1) 2010 Manyetes Vi De Vila Gratallops Priorat

A Cariñena Dry Red Table wine from Spain, Priorat, Spain. The 2010 Manyetes wears the “Vi de Villa Gratallops”, village wine on the label, as it is from Carinena vineyards in the village of Gratallops. The bright purple-colored 2010 has a complex nose of wet slate, graphite and peat intermixed with blueberries, violets and licorice aromas in a very harmonious way. The palate is deliciously rustic, with polished tannins, great acidity, pure flavors and a very long aftertaste. Overall it’s a very pleasant, rustic, elegant red, which could be drunk now with powerful food or aged slowly in bottle. It represents good value for money.

2) 2001 Tinto Pesquera Ribera Del Duero

A Proprietary Blend Dry Red Table wine from Spain, Ribera Del Duero, Castilla Leon, Spain. A whopper in the making, the 2001 Tinto possesses extraordinarily sweet fruit, purity, and richness. A deep ruby/purple color is followed by loads of chocolatey, black currant, cherry, raspberry, and licorice characteristics, full body, good acidity, and a long, layered finish. It should drink well for 10-15 years.
